Studio Guidelines
Welcome to pottery class! Here are a few guidelines to ensure that we have a happy and healthy studio to learn and work in.
1.Please come in loose comfortable clothing, proper shoes and an apron if you have it.
2.For any canceled class sessions, I will need 1-week notice and you will be reimbursed for $75% of the cost.
3.For any canceled classes in a session they can be made up in an other existing classes only within that session.
4.Please arrive and pick up no earlier and longer than 15 minutes before and after each class.
5. Pottery is usually ready for pick up within a week after the session finishes. Any pottery left more than 2 weeks will be discarded. I have a very small, busy studio and I don't have storage. For pick up please get in touch with me before you come. This is our home as well and we prefer not to have people coming by unannounced.
6. We would prefer if you could keep cell phone use to a minimum and phones are not allowed on our working table.
7.You will be given a shelf to store your pottery but each piece must also be labeled with your name.
8.Unfortunately, sometimes pottery breaks and it can be very upsetting. If this happens, I am always available to take some extra time to help you remake your project.
9. The whole process of learning and making pottery can seem very overwhelming in the beginning. Classes can sometime get a little hectic and I may not be able to answer everyone's questions. Always feel free to send me a text or call me if you have anything to discuss.
